We are excited to invite you to attend the Harlem Schools Summit on Saturday, April 6th at PS 185 The Locke School of Arts and Engineering in Harlem. Our charge for this year’s summit isA Vision for Young, Gifted Harlem: A Community Call to Action! We will have a day filled with engaging opportunities to learn more about the state of Harlem schools and collectively brainstorm solutions with a cross-section of corporate and community stakeholders. Below you will find additional details about the Summit, please RSVP by April 1st if you would like to attend and spread the word to other Harlem parents. Our goal to have at least 20 parents from each Harlem school represented!
Coffee, Community, Conversation Stations 9:30am- 10:30am
Join us for free breakfast sponsored by local businesses and have conversations with elected officials, community-based organizations and corporate partners. You will also have a chance to vote for a Harlem school to win funding for the participatory budgeting grant sponsored by City Council.
A Vision for Young, Gifted Harlem – 10:30am – 12:00pm
Hear from our dynamic keynote speaker, Harlem students and a panel of leaders on the many ways to support Harlem students.

Lunch and Visioning Sessions 12:00pm – 2:30pm
Join us for a chance to share your vision for Harlem schools, discuss your ideas with elected officials, community and corporate leaders. During the visioning sessions, five tech companies will pitch innovative ideas to create tech solutions to help support some of the issues impacting Harlem schools.
At the end of the sessions, we will announce the winners of the EdTech visioning session and raffle winners.
