In New York City, children begin pre-K in the calendar year they turn four.

• Wednesday, January 15, 2025: Pre-K Applications Open 

• Friday, February 28, 2025: Pre-K Applications Close 

• Tuesday, May 13, 2025: Pre-K Offer Release ​
